Drift explores the disintegration of human and nature. Viewing the exploration of self through the beauty of decay, the piece is captivated by the brief moment when life changes from light to dark, condensing life. Decomposition, a crucial component of the natural environment’s system, balances moments of life and death perfectly within a seemingly chaotic system. Drift translates, interprets and applies the process of decomposition to life, for a better understanding of the relationship to matter and spirit.
